JALAPENO CORN BREAD 
2 c. cornmeal
1 c. self-rising flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 c. milk
3 eggs, well beaten
1 lg. onion, chopped
3 tbsp. sugar
1 c. cream style corn
1/2 c. chopped jalapeno pepper
1/2 c. grated yellow cheese
1/2 c. chopped pimientos
1 tsp. garlic

Mix well and bake at 400 degrees until done and brown. Baking time, 30 to 40 minutes for 9"x13" greased pan.
