FRENCH FRIED SHRIMP 
3/4 lb. lg. raw shrimp in shells
1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of curry powder
1 egg white
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. salad oil

Peel shrimp, leaving tails. Slit along back removing veins. Flatten shrimp, pat dry. Combine dry ingredients, add egg white, water and salad oil, beat well. Dip shrimp in batter, fry in deep hot fat, until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towel. Serve with tartar sauce. Makes 2 servings. The entire family like this!
