DATE COFFEE CAKE (SUGARLESS) 
1/3 c. mashed ripe banana
1/2 c. butter, softened
3 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. dates, chopped
1 1/4 c. water

TOPPING:

1/3 c. chopped dates
1/3 c. walnuts, chopped
1/3 c. coconut

Mix together topping ingredients. Beat together mashed banana and butter until creamy. Add eggs, vanilla and water and beat. Measure in flour, soda and baking powder. Beat well. Stir in chopped dates. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 9x13 inch baking pan. Spread batter evenly. Put topping on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Serves 8 to 10.
