BARBECUED MEATLOAF 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. regular oatmeal, uncooked
1 med. onion, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. vinegar

Combine beef, oats, onion, egg, salt and pepper and 1/2 cup tomato sauce; mix well and pack into a lightly greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake loaf at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or microwave 4-5 minutes at 70% power.

Combine remaining 1/2 cup tomato sauce with remaining ingredients; stir well. Pour over meat loaf and bake 45 minutes longer in 350 degree oven or microwave 13-14 minutes at 70% power. Yields 6-8 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
