OATMEAL BREAD 
1 c. oats
1 1/2 c. boiling water
3 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. molasses
1 tbsp. yeast
1 c. raisins
6 c. flour (3 white, 3 wheat)
2 c. warm water

In large bowl, place oats, boiling water, and butter. Let set 1/2 hour. Add yeast to 2 cups warm water. Add to oat mixture. Add salt, molasses, and raisins. Mix. Stir in flour, adding one cup at a time, alternating between white and wheat. Knead 10 minutes. Place in buttered bowl. Let rise 1 hour. Punch down. Place in greased bread pans. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
