PICKLE RELISH 
24 lg. cucumbers
6 lg. onions
6 red peppers (sweet, not hot)
5 c. sugar, white or brown
4 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. mustard seed

Grind vegetables. Salt with 1/2 cup salt. Bring syrup to a boil. Drain vegetables well and add to syrup. Again bring to a boil. Add a bit of green food coloring, if desired. Put into hot sterile jars and seal. Makes 8 pints.
