Easy Meatloaf

We use a can of spaghetti sauce in place of ketchup and we sometimes also add a packet of chili or taco spices. Cooked in the oven at 400°F for 30 minutes, it's really quite good. You can also substitute a pepper (red, green, etc.) for one of the small onions. (Stuff small chunks of meatloaf into taco shells and serve with lettuce and grated cheese, too, if you like).

In my family's opinion, use Manwich original sauce, 1 can, in place of ketchup for in the mixture. Then top with ketchup at the last. It is so much more delectably delicious!

Try using v8 instead of ketchup - comes out just as good.

I substituted the ketchup for tomato sauce, ketchup makes it sweeter, tomato sauce is more tangy (personal preference).

I didn't put any ketchup in the meatloaf i used a different sauce for over the top which consists of:

2Tbs brown sugar
2Tbs regular mustard (like "smile you've got frenches" kind)
1/3c ketchup
mix it all together then spread over top of meat loaf then cook.
