CHEESE BUTTONS 
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
Water to make a soft dough

FILLING:

2 c. cottage cheese, dry
2 eggs
Onion, chopped (to taste)
Salt & pepper

Mix first 4 ingredients into soft dough. Roll the dough out to 1/4" thickness and cut into 4" squares. Place a spoonful of filling on each square, then fold and seal by pressing edges. Drop into boiling water in which salt has been added. Boil about 10 minutes. Drain and fry in butter. Or eat as soup. (This is a German dish, Kase Knepfela.)
