BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 med. pepper, sliced
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
1 lg. chopped onion
1/4 c. butter
2 lb. round steak, cubed
1/2 tsp. each: salt, garlic, paprika, pepper
1 can consomme diluted to 2 c.
1 c. commercial sour cream

Saute onions, pepper and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter. Brown diced meat in butter in separate pan after tossing in flour. Add salt and consomme/water mixture to meat simmering until tender -about 1 1/2 hours. Add seasoning, sauteed onions, pepper and mushrooms. Stir in sour cream, leave on stove just until heated. Serve over noodles (or rice).
