BEEF UP BISCUIT CASSEROLE | |
1-1 1/4 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. green pepper 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 egg 2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1 (8 oz.) refrigerated biscuits 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 c. sour cream Brown beef, onion and pepper. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic salt. Simmer while prepare dough. Separate biscuits into 10; pull each into 2 layers. Press 10 layers over bottom of ungreased 8-9 inch square bake pan. Combine 1/2 cup cheese, sour cream and egg. Remove meat from heat and stir in sour cream mixture; spoon over dough. Arrange remaining biscuits on top. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. |
