BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 1/2 lbs. sirloin, cut thick
1/2 c. fresh mushrooms
3/4 c. chopped onions
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) beef broth or 2 bouillon cubes in
1 1/3 c. hot water
1/2 c. wine or water 1/4
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. flour
1 c. sour cream
4 c. rice or noodles cooking oil

Cut steaks into strips. Brown in large skillet along with mushrooms and onion in hot cooking oil. Stir in beef broth. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Add wine. Combine flour and salt with sour cream and stir into mixture in skillet. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Serve on rice or noodles.
