PIZZA SAUCE 
1/2 bushel tomatoes
3 lb. onions
4 cloves garlic
4 hot peppers
1 pt. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. basil
1 tbsp. oregano
1/2 c. sugar, or more
1/2 c. salt
4 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste

Cook onions, garlic, and peppers. Put through sieve. Cook tomatoes. Put through sieve. Mix and add oil. Boil 1/2 hour. Add spices and tomato paste. Simmer until it boils. Put in jars. Cold pack 1/2 hour.
