GREEN WONDER SALAD 
15 oz. can French style green beans
15 oz. can small green peas
15 oz. can fancy style Chinese vegetables (no meat)
6 oz. can sliced water chestnuts
1 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
1 onion, thinly sliced (about 1/2 c.)
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Drain and discard liquid from canned vegetables. Mix vegetables in large bowl. Mix sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour over vegetables. Cover and refrigerate several hours. Makes 3 pints.
