NAVY BEAN SOUP 
2 c. dried navy beans, cleaned, washed & soaked overnight
1/2 c. salt pork
2 qts. water
Celery salt (to taste)
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans tomatoes
2 med. potatoes, peeled & diced
2 sm. onions, peeled & diced
2 carrots, peeled & diced
1 tbsp. salt
Dash pepper
Dash sugar

Wash beans; soak overnight. Add pork and water. Cook 2 hours. Add rest of ingredients. Simmer until tender.
