FRENCH CREAM FROSTING | |
3 tbsp. flour 1 c. milk 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. maple flavoring 1/2 c. shortening 1/2 c. butter Cook flour, milk and flavoring until thick. Cool. Beat sugar, butter and shortening until fluffy. Add cooked mixture. Frost cooled cake. Refrigerate cake. Better if refrigerated overnight before serving. Excellent on the Red Velvet Cake and Oatmeal Cake! |
