VAL'S CRANBERRY SALAD 
1 pkg. fresh cranberries, sliced
3/4 c. sugar or more
2 apples
1 c. pecans or walnuts
1 lg. pkg. cherry or strawberry Jello

Slice cranberries, cover with sugar and leave set overnight. Peel and dice apples. Dissolve Jello in less than normal amount of water. Chop nuts in rather large pieces. Allow Jello to start set before adding all ingredients to it.
