MOM'S STUFFING (LARGE TURKEY) | |
2 loaves bread, break into sm. pieces 2 stalks celery, chopped 1 lg. onion, chopped 4 eggs 1/2 lb. butter Cook celery and onion in salted water for 1/2 hour and let cool. Add celery and onions to bread using small amount of water from celery and onion. Add eggs and butter. Mix well. Butter cavity of turkey before stuffing. Butter breast of turkey after it is stuffed. Bake a medium turkey at 350 degrees for 4 1/2 hours. Uncover and brown the last hour. Cool for 1/2 to 1 hour before carving. |
