CHOCOLATE ALMOND BARK 
1 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate morsels
1 tbsp. vegetable shortening
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped toasted almonds

Combine in double-boiler or microwave morsels and vegetable shortening until melted. Stir until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in raisins and 1/4 cup almonds.

Spread into wax-paper lined 9 x 13 inch baking pan. (Paper should overlap ends so that candy can be easily lifted out.) Sprinkle remaining almonds on top. Chill - about 30 minutes. Before serving, break into bite-size pieces. Yield: 1 pound.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
