EASY REFRIGERATOR ROLLS | |
2 c. warm water (110-115 degrees) 2 pkg. yeast 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. soft shortening 1 egg 6 1/2-7 c. flour 1. Dissolve yeast in warm water. 2. Stir in sugar, salt, shortening and egg. 3. Mix in flour with hand until dough is easy to handle. 4. Form into ball. 5. Grease and place in greased container. 6. Cover with damp cloth and store in refrigerator. May be kept in refrigerator for 5 days. About 2 hours before baking, shape dough into rolls and place in a greased pan. Let rise. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. |
