ICEBOX ROLLS - LIGHT ROLLS 
1/2 sugar (1 c. for maples bars)
3/4 c. shortening
2 heaping tsp. salt
2 c. hot water

Mix with hot water when lukewarm, add 2 eggs, beaten, 2 envelopes yeast, dissolved in 1/2 cup cold water. Add 8 cups flour. Mix and let rise 1 hour. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter. Add piece of butter and fold over. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.
