STRAWBERRY JELLO CAKE 
1 Duncan Hines cake mix
1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
1 qt. strawberries
1 sm. box strawberry Jello

Follow directions on box of cake mix. Bake in large saucepan. Wash strawberries and drain on paper towels. Cut the stems off and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar. Sit in refrigerator. Mix Jello following directions on box. Let it sit out of refrigerator until cake cools. Punch holes in cake with wooden spoon handle. Pour Jello on cake, cover with foil, put in refrigerator overnight. When ready to serve, spread Cool Whip over cake, add strawberries on top of cream and serve.
