ROAST BEEF WITH GRAVY 
4-5 lb. bottom round roast beef
Flour
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 med. onion
2 whole cloves
1 (2 inch) bay leaf
1 pkg. Knorr's classic brown gravy mix
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder

Heat oil in roasting pan over medium heat. Rub roast with flour. Brown meat in oil. Mix gravy package with 1 up of water and pour into roasting pan. Peel onion and insert cloves, place in roasting pan. Add bay leaf. Season roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cover and place in preheated 325 degrees for 2 1/2 hours. Remove roast and strain gravy.
