HOT MILK BUTTER SPONGE CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter

Beat the eggs. Add the sugar; beat. Bring to a boil the milk and butter. Remove 1/3 cup of flour and add the baking powder. Mix well. Set aside.

Add the rest of the flour and the boiled mixture alternately to the eggs and sugar. Finish with the baking powder and flour. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour in an ungreased tube pan. Cool 1 hour upside down. Goes deliciously with a chocolate sour cream frosting.
