TEA CAKES 
1 c. oil
2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla flavor
4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix first 6 ingredients and beat. Mix and sift next 4 ingredients. Add flour a little at a time, as you mix all together. Pinch off small pieces of dough and roll into little balls. Flatten and put on cookie sheet. Cook 10 to 15 minutes at 350°F. Do not brown.
