2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. buttermilk
6 c. flour, plain

Mix butter and sugar well with mixer.

Add eggs, salt, soda and vanilla. Mix well. Add buttermilk and flour. Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 12 minutes.
