BRISKET (NOT CORN BEEF) 
3 to 4 lbs. brisket
1 envelope beefy onion soup mix.
2 1/2 c. water

Place brisket in baking pan or dish. Make thick paste adding water to onion soup mix. Cover top of brisket with this. Add 2 1/2 cups water. Cover very tight and bake 2 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Do not remove cover until done.
