OLD TIME BUTTERMILK PIE 
9-inch unbaked pie shell
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
3 rounded tsp. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of nutmeg

Cream together butter and sugar. Add flour and eggs. Beat well. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour into unbaked pie shell.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°F. Place on wire rack to cool.
