BETTY'S STEW 
2 lb. sirloin tip roast, cut into 2" cubes
1 onion, quartered
4 carrots, cut into bit-size pieces
2 or 3 potatoes, cut into bite-size pieces
4 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 c. mushrooms, fresh, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

1/4 c. plain bread crumbs 1/4 c. quick cooking tapioca 12 oz. can tomatoes with the juice
