Mix in blender: 4 eggs 1 c. Bisquick 2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. butter, melted Fold in: 1 tbsp. dehydrated onion or 1/4 c. fresh, chopped 1 c. (4 oz.) Swiss cheese, grated Dash of nutmeg 1 lb. bacon or 1/4 lb. ham 1/2 pkg. frozen broccoli or 1/2 bunch of fresh, cook until almost tender, chopped Pour into greased deep dish pie pan, small casserole or 10 inch quiche dish; can garnish with crisp bacon or ham. Bake at 375 degrees, 25 to 30 minutes, until golden on top edges. If desired, remove from oven a couple minutes early and sprinkle with grated Colby or Cheddar cheese and top with thin tomato slices for garnish. Then return to oven for couple minutes. 1 1/2 recipes fill a 9 x 13 inch dish. I have prepared this mix the night before and baked it in the morning. |
