BUTTERMILK BROWNIE STICKS 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. baking soda
2 eggs, lightly beaten

Mix flour and sugar. In saucepan, mix butter, cocoa, oil and water. Bring to a boil. Pour over flour mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Beat; pour in greased and floured jelly roll pan or 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake jelly roll size pan for 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Bake 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

ICING:

1 stick butter
1/3 c. canned milk
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil butter, milk and cocoa. Add sugar, nuts and vanilla. Pour over brownies while hot - brownies need to be hot, too.
