3 c. Pillsbury Hungry Jack potato flakes 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. boiling water 1 c. milk 1 c. flour Pour the potato flakes into a mixing bowl and add salt. Put 1/4 cup butter into a 1 cup measuring cup and add boiling water to fill up the cup. Add this to the potato flakes and stir. Add the milk and stir in. Work in the flour with your hands when cool. Form into balls (little larger than golf ball) and put them on a plate and refrigerate until balls are quite cold (3 to 5 hours). Roll out very thin and bake on lefse grill that has been preheated to 500 degrees. |
