BREAKFAST BITES 
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1 1/2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; make a well in center of mixture. Combine milk, oil and egg; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling 2/3 full. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from pan immediately and dip muffin tops in melted butter. Combine 1/4 cup sugar and the cinnamon; sprinkle sugar mixture over top of each muffin. Yield: About 1 dozen.
