WINTER FRUIT SALAD
1 lb. sliced apples (I prefer green Granny Smith)
1 lb. sectioned oranges
1 can chunk pineapple
3 to 4 bananas, sliced
Maraschino cherries (for color)
Chopped nuts (optional)

GLAZE:

1 sm. can orange juice (frozen)
1 can orange-pinepple juice (frozen)
1 sm. can lemonade (frozen)
Dash of sugar

In saucepan mix frozen juices. Add about 1 cup of water. Bring this mixture to a boil and add sugar to taste (it depends on how sweet you want this glaze). After mixture has come to a boil, thicken with cornstarch and water (mixture should be the consistency of lemon pie filling).

In large bowl, combine all fruit except bananas. Mix thoroughly and let stand for about 1/2 hour. Pour cooled glaze over mixture. Add bananas before serving. Excellent in winter or summer. In summer you may add strawberries, bing cherries, peaches, etc.
