ITALIAN COOKIES 
6 c. flour
1 3/4 c. Crisco
10 tsp. baking powder
1 3/4 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
10 eggs
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. vanilla

Cut flour, Crisco, baking powder, sugar and salt together with pastry cutter. Make a well - put eggs, milk and vanilla in well. With a fork start stirring until mixed. Use pastry cutter until ALL blended. (Dough will be very heavy). Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees. Let cool before frosting. Makes 9 dozen.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar
Little milk
Little vanilla

To make frosting beat all ingredients with mix master - frosting will be very thick. Add food coloring and use a knife to frost cookies.
