ITALIAN SAUSAGE SOUP 
1 lb. Italian sausage, cut in 1/2 inch slices
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 chopped lg. onions
1 (16 oz.) can Italian pear tomatoes
1 1/2 qt. canned beef broth
1 1/2 c. red wine
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. thyme
3 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 green pepper, chopped
2 med. sliced zucchini
3 c. uncooked bow tie noodles
Parmesan cheese, grated

Brown sausage on medium heat. Drain fat. Cook garlic and onions until limp. Stir in add break up tomatoes. Add broth, wine, basil, thyme, and parsley. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Add vegetables and noodles. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes. Sprinkle each serving with cheese. Serves 8-10.
