POLYNESIAN STEAK KABOBS | |
3/4 c. pineapple juice 1/4 c. salad oil 3 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tsp. firmly packed brown sugar 3/4 tsp. ground ginger 1 clove garlic, minced 1 1/2 to 2 lb. sirloin steak (1 inch thick, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes) 1 lg. green pepper, cut into 1-inch squares 12 cherry tomatoes 12 med. mushroom caps 12 pearl onions, cooked and drained Combine first 6 ingredients; add meat, cover and marinate overnight in refrigerator. Remove meat from marinate. Alternate meat and vegetables on skewers. Grill 10-15 minutes over medium heat, basting with marinate and turning occasionally. Serves 4. |
