MERINGUE COOKIES 
2 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
6 oz. chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Beat egg whites until stiff. Slowly add sugar and beat until stiff peaks are formed. Add food coloring if desired. Gradually add chocolate and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet and place into preheated 350 degree oven. Turn off oven immediately. Leave in oven overnight or at least 4 hours.
