MARINADE FOR BEEF 
6 tbsp. minced scallions
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 drops Tabasco sauce or a lg. pinch of pepper
1 tsp. thyme or Italian seasoning
4 tbsp. olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon

Mix all ingredients and marinate beef in flat dish, refrigerated all day, turning occasionally. You may substitute vegetable oil for the olive oil. Steak is best when brought to room temperature before broiling or barbecuing.
