ALMOND BRITTLE 
2 sticks butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 - 1 c. sliced almonds
1/4 lb. graham crackers, broken into halves

Melt butter in microwave; add brown sugar, stirring to blend; cook about 4 minutes in microwave. Remove from heat and add almonds, stirring to blend. Cover cookie sheet with foil. Place graham crackers evenly on top of foil. Spread sugar and almond mixture over top, spreading to cover sides. Spread almonds evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 10 minutes until mixture bubbles a few minutes. Cool at least 1 hour before breaking up into pieces. Store in tightly covered container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
