LAYERED MEAT LOAF 
1 3/4 lbs. ground beef
1/4 lb. ground veal
1 c. soft bread crumbs
2 tbsp. parsley, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 lb. grated Swiss cheese
1/4 lb. cooked ham, minced
3/4 c. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. minced parsley
1/4 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. olive or salad oil
2 sm. cans of tomato sauce

Combine first 2 ingredients and press one-half mixture into well oiled loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3 inches). Mix grated cheese, ham, onion, parsley, salt and spread over beef layer. Top with remaining beef mixture, sealing edges so cheese mixture is sealed between the beef layers. Brush top with salad oil and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Pour tomato sauce over and continue baking 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
