BUTTERSCOTCH YAMS | |
2 (17 oz.) cans drained yams 1/2 c. Karo light syrup 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. half and half 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Place yams in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake in 325 degree oven for 15 minutes. In saucepan, mix remaining ingredients. Stir constantly and bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes. Pour over yams. Bake 15 minutes more, basting often. |
