CHOCOLATE CRISP CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES | |
2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 c. butter, softened 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits 1 c. chopped nuts Mix flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In large bowl cream butter until fluffy; gradually beat in sugar until light. Beat in egg and vanilla until blended and fluffy. Stir in flour mixture, chocolate, and nuts until well mixed. Shape in 2-inch balls. Place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets (6 per sheet). Bake on middle rack in preheated 350 degree oven 20-23 minutes or until golden and edges are lightly brown. Cool completely on cookie sheets. Makes 21 (4-inch) cookies. Store covered in cool, dry place. |
