PECAN FUDGE PIE | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces 4 eggs 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. light corn syrup 2 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 c. halved or coarsely chopped pecans 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell (deep dish) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate pieces, stirring occasionally. In medium bowl, beat together next 5 ingredients. Slowly add melted chocolate, stirring rapidly with wire whisk or spoon. Fold in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees about 50-60 minutes or until center is set. Cool. Makes 10-12 servings, about 500 calories for each 10 servings. "This is sinfully rich." Unless pie shell is deep dish, it will be too small for filling. |
