ITALIAN MACARONI SALAD 
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
1/2 (16 oz.) box acini di pepe #28 noodles or Rosmarino pasta
1 lg. (12 oz.) Cool Whip

Drain: 1 can mandarin oranges (save juice)

Combine: The juice from the fruit with sugar, flour, eggs, salt, and lemon juice. Cook to make a sauce and let cool. Cook 1/2 box of noodles as directed on package and rinse with cold water. Add noodles to sauce and let sit in refrigerator overnight. Next day, add the fruit and 1 large container Cool Whip; mix together.
