LIMA BEANS AND PORK CHOPS 
1 1/2 c. dry lima beans
4 c. water
4 tsp. salt
6 pork chops
2 tbsp. flour
1/3 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. onion
1/2 tsp. powdered mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper

Soak beans overnight. Next morning, add 3 teaspoons salt to beans, bring to boiling point and simmer 1 hour until beans are almost soft. Drain off water and save it. Put beans in a 2 1/2 quart casserole. Flour pork chops and salt on both sides with remaining teaspoon salt. Brown in skillet on both sides and place over beans in casserole. Mix 1/2 cup of the bean water, ketchup, sugar, onion, mustard and black pepper. Pour over beans and meat. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees.
