MARY'S BAR-B-QUE BRISKET | |
Place the brisket in the middle of foil big enough to seal completely. But first, season the meat with celery salt, onion salt and garlic salt; pour on enough soy sauce, liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce to cover. Wrap well and refrigerate overnight. Take the bundle as it is and place it on a rack in a baking pan partly filled with water. Bake at 350 degrees for 4 hours. Open the foil and pour off the liquid. Bake 1 more hour at 250 degrees with this sauce poured over. BAR-B-QUE SAUCE: 1 c. cider vinegar 1 c. sugar 2 c. ketchup 2 tsp. dry powdered mustard 4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 4 tbsp. soy sauce 1 onion (grated), optional |
