BLUEBERRY BREAD 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. soft butter
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 c. fresh blueberries or 1 can, drained
2 tbsp. sugar

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Blend in butter, using a fork, until mixture is crumbly. Beat egg and milk together and stir into dry ingredients until just blended. Don't over mix!

Fold in blueberries.

Turn into a well greased and floured pan (oblong). Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar over the top. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Makes 1 loaf.
