PITA SALAD SANDWICH 
4 loaves pita bread
4 c. shredded lettuce
2 green onions, sliced
1 rib celery, sliced thin or chopped
1 carrot, diced
1/3 c. red bell pepper, diced
1/2 c. grated American cheeze
Dash of salt
Mayonnaise as spread
Tomatoes, diced (optional)

Spread mayonnaise inside bread. Toss vegetables. Fill each half pita with salad. May send sandwich filling in separate container and fill sandwich just before eating.

Servings: 8.
