COBBLER 
PASTRY:

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
5 tbsp. milk

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening. Add milk, mix and roll. Put on cobbler, making a few slashes on top. Bake 25 minutes in 350 degree oven.

BLACKBERRY COBBLER:

4 c. washed berries
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. water
2 tbsp. butter

PEACH COBBLER:

1 qt. peaches, peeled, sliced & pitted
1/2 c. water (if peaches do not make too much juice)
Butter
1 1/2 - 2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 tbsp. flour
Lemon juice

Slice peaches and sprinkle lightly with lemon juice. Combine sugar, spices and flour; mix with peaches. Add water if they are not juicy enough. Place in buttered baking dish and dot with butter. Cover with dough and make a few slashes on top. Bake 25 minutes in 350 degree oven.
