1/2 c. butter
6 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts or chocolate chips (opt.)

Mix together cocoa and melted butter; add sugar and eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop batter by spoonfuls on hot waffle iron, close and bake 1 minute.
